Yeah, Dezi's was Funhouse too. His reminded me of The Scream, with Corabi. Raggz is talking about a different one. There may have been 3 bands with that name actually, because I don't think the ones that released an album were sleaze.
Wasn't Dezi in a band called Funhouse at one point. He sent me a tape i'll have to dig it out. From what I remember it was great blues based rock.

Raggz,
Just so you know, Ruby Rockets never recorded in a studio. They were one of those infamous Hollywood glam bands that got together and broke up while most people cool breakfast. They played a couple shows and put out a two song live cassette, which is decent, but not great. Definately one of those bands that looked WAY cooler than they sounded...
The singer of the band went on to be in Toffee, a pretty cool Black Crowes-ish sort of band in the mid-90's...If anyone has that stuff, I'd like to get copies of it...

<font size="3" face="Arial">Ahhhh, Dezi's Funhouse!!! I liken them more to Faces and Mott The Hoople. Fans of those bands would love that Funhouse! Brilliant stuff, and the guitarist Bryn went on to form the brilliant Flipp!!! But Funhouse was easily one of the best straight up RnR bands to exist.Originally posted by glamfly:

RATTLESNAKE SHAKE - they had a 4 tx. release in 1990 on Monster records(the same label that put out the Swingin' Thing and Taz stuff).
HAP HAZZARD - 1994 release (check out www.heavyharmonies.com for more info on this and the Rattlesnake Shake)
VVSI - i had their tape at one time "No Ace At Hand" was the name of it...not really impressed, more on the hard rock-ish side if i remember correctly...i know they had a song called "lion's mane" on that tape.
ST. VALENTINE - i had the 1987 demo they did with Dana Strum...not really my style....kind of light-weight with the keyboards and such...more in the AOR sound.

Here are the bands that I know of on some level...
- St. Valentine
Put out several decent demos, one produced by Dana Strum
- Filthy Rittz
This was the pre-Blackboard Jungle band. They recorded a demo, but I've never encountered anyone that had it. If you have any luck, let me know...
- Ultra Pop
This is Lizzie Grey of London and Spider & Snakes fame. They put out two full-length albums, both of which are very cool, in the T-Rex-ish vein of glam...
If you find out about any others from your lists, let me know guys...
What about the DumDums? They looked like Trash Brats, but I've never seen anything from them...

What are the names of the Ultra Pop albums?
The first Ultra Pop album was self-titled, the second one was called "Adventures In Fantasy"...
